Project
The new constructed technology center for the Dorotheum GmbH & CO KG in Vösendorf consists of three building elements, which are being utilized in different ways. To construct the building an existing commercial building was revitalized or rather partly demolished down to the column panels and erected from the bottom. The areas include a big auction hall with displays, offices, storage areas, parking spots with street lighting, as well as an archive. Completion of the project was in November of 2011.

Scope of Services
LJG was hired as a partner for all the mechanical engineering and electrical systems, the low current systems as well as the building automation. The contract also included the design, execution and the operating of all the systems.

Highlights
Besides the technical and structural challenges special focus was set on optimizing the central components for building management system. The aim was to achieve technical synergies but still accomplish maximum flexibility for the operator in all the l areas.
