House of the sea

The House of the Sea has been expanded and remodeled in several stages since 2018. After the construction of the new staircases, the redesign of the Oceans Sky Bar on the roof and the 400,000 liter shark tank on the 7th floor. Coupled with the appropriate optical ambience, the now newly opened 70m long tour offers a great experience on 260m², which is located on the 9th floor in the area of the now glazed terrace with the characteristic “ear-washes” (note “swallow’s nests” for the installation of the MG’s in the 2nd WK).

Special design attention on this project was given to light and heat source control to ensure optimal climate and proper environmental conditions for the animals from a wide range of climates in Australia.
