After a successful cooperation with Hofer KG on the construction and reconstruction of different stores since 2008, LSG was contracted to install the MV, HV and LV power systems for two Hofer branches in Trumau and Stockerau. LSG won two major projects out of the tendered three-package.

Highlights
The project included an enlargement of the logistics center, extension of the existing dry and deep-freeze storage as well as the refrigerated warehouse, including technical equipment. The administration offices were also expanded. As a result, the branch offices were enlarged by a good 2/3 of the existing area.
The dimensions of the project are impressing:
dry storage extension: approx. 21,000m² with a height of 13.75m,
deep-freeze storage and refrigerated warehouse: approx. 6.800m² with 10m high,
Administration offices: about 420m².
This was a technologically challenging construction with a heavy-weight MV and transformer system and breathtaking installation heights.
