MyPlace Riverside, Rossauer Lände, Vienna
After a fire on the 6th floor, the myplace Riverside was badly damaged by fire and smoke as well as by the extinguishing water. After the renovation it is again an elegant apartment hotel and offers the perfect alternative to a hotel.
All general areas were modernized with LED lights, emergency lighting and cameras/WLAN access points as part of the work. The entire fire alarm system was replaced and re-approved by the testing agency.
Apart from the damaged rooms, the systems in the unaffected rooms or apartments were upgraded to the latest technology. New LED lights, network cabling for TV sets and replacement of the room distributors were the focus of the modernization.
In order to keep to the ambitious schedule and the tight budget, it was often necessary to make corrections in the construction process and in the construction logistics. Particularly in the electrical area, potential for improvement was constantly identified in the existing building. Small-scale interventions were carried out with almost surgical precision to upgrade the rooms. It goes without saying that LSG also completed this project on schedule.
