Key Indicators
Total area: 1300 m²
Heating capacity: 107 kW
Cooling capacity: 160 kW
Date of Completion: May 2012
Highlights
Because the site sits under historical preservation protections, there was a high degree of precision and care that the team undertook with this cellar. A daily detailed coordination with the construction team regarding the overall plan was especially important. An additional challenge with this project was the high (85%) humidity, which adds to the demands on the heating and cooling systems. Building a pedestal to mount the heat exchanger on the very limited roof of the abbey was cause for some concern by the neighbors.
