LSG Building Solutions d.o.o. Zagreb, on the order of LSG Building Solutions GmbH from Vienna and for the investor CINEPLEXX Kinobetriebe GmbH, started the complete reconstruction of the existing Cineplexx SCS in Shopping City Süd in Wiener Neudorf.

On a floor plan area of 4.000 m2, 9 existing halls are being completely reconstructed, during which 4 smaller halls will be combined into 2 larger ones, thus creating 7 halls decorated according to the latest Cineplexx standards. Among the new halls, IMAX and two ATMOS halls will be built. In addition to the reconstruction of the existing ones, it is planned to expand by 900 m2 to the adjacent premises, where 4 additional VIP halls would be created, and the construction of an additional technical floor of 300 m2 for the accommodation of new equipment.

Complete reconstruction includes the following works: dismantling of electrical installations, dismantling of HVAC, electrical installation works, lighting, decorative lighting, security lighting, public address system, public address cabling, fire alarm system, BMS, ventilation system, reconstruction of existing air conditioning units, heating/cooling system, hydrants, water /sewerage, catering area, lighting and LED design of the lobby, corridors and toilets.

The anticipated deadline for the start of the works is April, and the planned completion of the works in December 2023.
